Your Mission:
- Hunt Bugs Mercilessly: Test, break and uncover bugs before our users do (we’ll reward your destruction with praise).
- Design & Execute Tests: Develop test cases that make our software quake in its boots.
- Collaborate with Developers: Be the gatekeeper of quality, working closely with developers to make everything flawless (or at least close).
- Automate Like a Pro: If it’s repetitive, automate it. Be the hero who saves everyone’s time.
- Maintain Test Documentation: Keep things organized with clear, up-to-date test records and assist in regression testing.
- Keep Users Happy: Ensure every release is a joy to use and doesn’t leave users scratching their heads.
- Champion of Client Support: Be the front line for testing-related client queries. Investigate, troubleshoot, and support clients with care, clarity, and quick turnarounds. Your guidance will ensure clients feel confident and valued.
Your Superpowers:
- Real Experience: Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in software QA or testing roles including internships or project/product-based roles.
- Support-First Mentality: Strong communication skills and a natural drive to help. Client support experience will make you stand out.
- Eye for Detail: You notice the tiniest inconsistencies. If something’s broken, you’ll catch it.
- Functional and API Testing Know-How: Familiar with functional testing and tools like Postman.
- Critical Thinking: You anticipate what could go wrong and test for it before anyone else thinks to.
- Testing Versatility: You’re open to (and excited by) UI, Design, API, and Device testing basically anything QA-related.
- Tools in Your Belt: Comfortable with Jira, bug tracking, test management systems, and familiar with Selenium or similar performance testing tools.Cross-Platform Testing BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
- Agile Familiarity: You thrive in agile environments and understand iterative testing workflows.
- Eager to Automate: You’re willing to learn test automation tools and it’s a huge plus if you’ve already used some.
Basic understanding of: (Must Have)
- Agile/Scrum process
- Test case writing (Excel/Sheets or dedicated tools)
- Regression, smoke, sanity testing cycles
- Reading error logs from backend or browser
